The Queen's Sinful Shelf Giveaway: Two Signed Books. Two Lucky Sinners. One Unforgettable Bookish Celebration.

Neon pink The Queen’s above white SINFUL SHELF GIVEAWAY on a dark background with ornate silver corner flourishes.

DEAR SINNERS,

I have a confession.

And no, for once, it doesn't involve a morally questionable fictional man, a book I absolutely didn't need to buy, or me promising the King that this was DEFINITELY the last special edition.

Although... let's be serious. We all know that last one is a lie. ꩜ 😂

This confession is a little different.

I'M GIVING AWAY TWO SIGNED BOOKS! 😭🖤📚

And before anybody checks my temperature, calls for help, or asks whether I've finally lost my damn mind...

No. Well. Not entirely.

There's actually a story behind this one.

🖤 Sometimes Happiness Deserves to Be Shared

Last week, I attended an incredible book release party.

You know those moments when you're surrounded by people who genuinely understand your love for books? People who don't blink when you start discussing morally gray men like they're actual members of your extended family?

THOSE PEOPLE.

The atmosphere. The excitement. The cake. The readers. The memories.

Oh and I actually won best dressed, lmao.

It reminded me why I love this community so damn much.

And I came home with two signed copy of Dark Horse by C.R. Jane because the King waits for one word books

to join the reading community.

The King and I saddled up for the Dark Horse release party by C.R. Jane at the Paris Hotel in Las Vegas, NV! Amazing memories, incredible company, and one unforgettable bookish night. Some happiness is just too damn good not to share.

Now, any reasonable book collector would probably say, "Well, you have two. Keep them both."

And trust me, the little dragon living inside my brain was absolutely in favor of that arrangement.

But something about this experience made me want to share it.

Because why should I be the only one sitting here grinning like an idiot over a signed book?

Then there's Samantha Barrett.

One of those authors whose books have occupied an absolutely ridiculous amount of space in my heart, on my shelves, and probably in my therapy-worthy reading history. 😭

Samantha personally signed a stunning Malevolent Sinners Omnibus specifically for a giveaway.

A gorgeous collectible edition, signed and ready to make another reader's day.

And suddenly, the idea became a reality.

THE QUEEN'S SINFUL SHELF GIVEAWAY WAS BORN.

Meet the Two Signed Prizes

A collectible edition featuring:

  • A gorgeous foiled cover.

  • Beautiful pressed edges.

  • Samantha Barrett's personal signature, specifically for this giveaway.

  • Accompanying bookmarks.

Books, hugs, laughter, and another memory I'll treasure forever. 📚💕 Spending time at XOXO, Book Boutique in Las Vegas reminded me why I love this bookish community so freaking much. And Samantha made it even more special by signing a Malevolent Sinners Omnibus for one lucky sinner!

It's the kind of book you display proudly, admire every five minutes, and occasionally threaten people over if they approach it with sticky fingers.

Not that I would ever do that.

Obviously. .~

🖤 Prize Two: Dark Horse by C.R. Jane

One personally signed copy of Dark Horse, shared from my collection after an unforgettable release celebration, with accompanying bookmarks.

This particular prize carries a little piece of that happiness home with it.

And knowing another reader will get to experience that excitement?

That makes giving it away worth it.

🌍 Yes, Sinners. We're Going International!

Because bookish happiness shouldn't automatically stop at a border.

The Queen's Sinful Shelf Giveaway runs from October 26 through November 7, 2026.

There will be TWO randomly selected winners.

Each winner receives ONE signed book.

You'll even get to tell me which book you'd prefer, or select "Either Book — Surprise Me!"

And no, you do not need to follow seventeen accounts, tag your entire family tree, or sacrifice your dignity to the social media algorithm.

Your dignity is already at risk if you read some of the same books I do. 😂

Entry is completely free. No purchase or newsletter subscription is required.

Important International Eligibility Information

The giveaway is open to eligible adults aged 18+ who have reached the legal age of majority, subject to applicable legal and shipping restrictions.

Due to international postal reliability concerns, entries from Central America, South America, and destinations affected by postal suspensions are not eligible. Other legal restrictions may apply.

I will cover standard outbound international postage for the winners.

Any applicable destination-country customs charges, import duties, VAT, or postal clearance fees remain the winner's responsibility.

Please review the full rules before entering so there are no unpleasant surprises.

  3. Submit your entry and let fate handle the rest.

Entries open October 26, 2026, and close November 7, 2026.

One entry per person. No purchase necessary. Newsletter subscriptions are entirely optional.

Potential winners will be contacted by email after the drawing.

And please remember: I will NEVER ask you to pay me, provide banking information, or purchase anything to claim a giveaway prize. Legitimate destination-country customs fees, if applicable, are handled through the appropriate customs authority or carrier.

A Little More Than Just Books

I've always believed indie authors deserve more than a fleeting moment of attention.

They deserve readers who show up.

Who celebrate their victories.

Who recommend their stories when the algorithms decide to be complete assholes.

Who understand that behind every book is a person who poured time, emotion, imagination, and probably an unhealthy amount of caffeine into creating something for us.

And readers deserve celebrating, too.

The people who leave reviews, share recommendations, attend signings, support indie authors, and keep these beautiful little book communities alive.

This giveaway isn't about how many followers I can collect.

It's about sharing something that made me happy.

Two books might not change the world.

But making somebody smile when an unexpected package arrives at their door?

Yeah.

That's worth a little shelf space.

GOOD LUCK, SINNERS. 🖤

May your bookshelves overflow, your fictional men remain gloriously questionable, and your mail carrier understand that some packages are more important than others.

With love, chaos, and entirely too many signed books,
